Sophia & Gavin Davis Post tribute on Tuesday, October 2, 2018 - 19:32
Dearest Mich and Roger, we know there will never be enough words or the right words to comfort you, certainly not at this time. I knew Nyle through Mich, everything was Nyle. When you spoke about your son it was always with such pride and joy. I remember us passing on the way to work in the mornings and beeping and the days there were no flashing lights it was simply because Nyle was driving……and we laughed about it later that day. In our Roman Catholic faith, we have a deep relationship with Jesus’ mother whom we call Our Blessed Mother. Most persons cannot understand, however she was the most exemplary Mother to have walked this earth. She was the Mother of the Saviour of the world. She knew every joy and every pain her son bore. And yet she also knew, maybe not with the details, but certainly with the assurance of the Holy Spirit that His life was no ordinary life and His suffering was no ordinary suffering. My prayer for you is that Our Blessed Mother will intercede to her son on your behalf for comfort, understanding and peace with each passing day. That you will see and take comfort in the blessing of your wonderful and very special son and how he touched so many lives in such a short time and is now with angels to watch over you both in all you do. Love and blessings Sophs and Family

A young man I knew for a short while but in that time his intellect was evident! Though I may never understand God's plan may we trust his heart! Condolences to the family may God grant courage, comfort and strength!

I am blessed to have gotten the opportunity to interact with Nyle for the past couple of months. My desk was in an area he had to pass when he was en route to see his mum at work. I don't think that my big sister Jody-Ann or mummy got to meet you, but she knew your mum and family well, and was truly saddened that she did not get to meet you in life. However she learned so much about you, and was deeply moved by the tributes by your peers at your Thanksgiving service. I remember one day, I observed you waiting patiently to be my little cousin's chauffeur for her high school ball and the bond you two had, small act of kindness, but I will never forget it. Sleep in peace, the world is a little bit more awesome because of you. Its truly inspiring how you made such a great impact on so many lives in such a short time, your legacy will live on in our hearts.
The Spence Family Post tribute on Monday, October 1, 2018 - 15:43
Nyle came as a great blessing and gift to Michelle and Roger and two more deserving and devoted parents he could not have. Nyle came to represent the focus of their family and very soon it was obvious that he was a very special presence in their lives. No one will ever know the wonder of love that Nyle awoke in the hearts of Michelle and Roger, how their breath quickened at the thought of him twitching during the night. We may never understand the waves of peace that wash over their farrowed brow in their time of grief, but God, who blessed them with Nyle, and blessed Nyle with them knows. We are all at a loss for words that we wish we could form to take the sting away, but as you sit with this pain, our prayer for you is that your faith will be your strength in those moments of silent tears and wonder, at why such a beautiful soul as Nyle was taken home so soon. May you find comfort that your beautiful son Nyle is now the unseen angel who parents your hearts and will always be with you, in mind and heart with every passing breath. Our Family celebrates the life Nyle lived, a life that is a testimony to the wonderful family that formed him and shaped his character. He deposited rich moments of memory for us to feast on, and grow from, as we reflect on the peaceful, gracious presence that he was, and will always be to us. In faith we can affirm that his work here was completed and so he departed, but not before he taught us how to befriend our own death. He kept his heart open and generous, inspiring and blessing his friends and family and when it was time, he turned and departed in peace, with the confidence that he has just open the door to new, eternal life. We have been touched with our own foibles and insecurities but if we take one thing from Nyle it is that we recognize the urgency of the moment. To live now, today, so that we might be able to celebrate our lives on our own death bed. Go now to rest Nyle, your fevered breath is now hushed, and you are at peace, you have been healed. Michelle and Roger, and the Ashwood- Stewart family, may God continue to walk with you in the years ahead and may the gaping hole in your hearts be filled with the grace and peace of the Holy Spirit.

Michelle & Roger you were blessed to be the parents of Nyle . He has bless so many people in short journey on earth. Take comfort that though his journey was short it was of the highest quality of which you played a big part.May the Lord continue to bless you as you treasure his memories

Pastors Roger and Michelle, though we have never met, nor did I meet Nyle, I have been so moved by his story. What a remarkable and marvellous thing that he has blessed so many lives in his short time with us. Truly, he bore the fruit that only those connected to the Vine can bear; and to God be all the glory. You raised a fine son, indeed, in the nurture and admonition of the Lord. I pray that God will give you the opportunity to guide other parents in how to do the same. What an impact you have made, and I pray that many others will be able to glean lessons from your example. Even as Nyle is now with the Lord and comforted, may you, too, find the comfort, peace, and healing of Christ, even as you continue in His grace.

Michelle and Roger; Nyle touched so many people positively in his short life. I can only imagine the void he has left in your lives. Despite the circumstances, your faith and trust in the Lord shine through. In this time of grief you are a living testimony to everyone who knows you. May God continue to bless you and keep you strong.
Patricia Christie Post tribute on Sunday, September 30, 2018 - 16:04
I admired Nyle's transition from Mona Prep to St. Georges College and then to UWI, and was confident that without a doubt, with each of those transitions he made his parents proud of his achievements. Nyle was a humble person, a positive human being and touched the lives of many. My plan was to attend your graduation, however, God had a different plan for your life. The memories will live on. SIP.

I will never forget those moments we held each others hands; more figuratively than literally. You taught me the importance of expressing so..., Nyle I yearn to see you running up to me smiling and squeezing the life out of me with your hugs. I cry because I miss you. I sob because I love you but I smile because I remember your Spirit and I find comfort in meeting you once again. May God continually empower the ones who knew you, those who knew of you and those who will grow to appreciate your legacy.

Nyle Nyle Nyle....... Aunty Michelle, Uncle Roger. No amount of words, hugs , gifts can fill this void, can quell this pain. The only thing that is sure to provide the comfort you need is the love of God and the peace of God. Nyle was a gem and I thank God that it was through you that He decided to share him with the world. I pray that God will continue to radiate through you and that in the moments that we can comfort you, that God will continue to be your refuge and your strength. I pray for unending comfort and grace and peace of mind and strength. Bless you Nyle Jordan Ashwood Stewart. ❣️❣️❣️

I am still in disbelief, i remember you sitting in your mother's office. Always polite, always smiling. Your strength, courage and faith showed your resilience to the very end. Sleep in the Arms of Jesus Nyle. To Mr and Mrs Stewart, i pray for strength in times of weakness, faith , when those days become a struggle and most of all courage to face each waking moment. May light perpetual shine upon the soul of Nyle...

Lisa Deer Post tribute on Saturday, September 29, 2018 - 19:52
Mr and Mrs Stewart I pray that the Lamb of God that takes away the sins of the world will grant you a peace that the world cannot give or take away. I supervised and taught Nyle and he was always a pleasure to be around - the student that you wish you could have every day. One of my most precious memories is Nyle's million dollar smile especially when I am serious and probably shouting. I thank God for you and wish that many more students would be so impactful at such a young age...Nyle walk good until we meet again in a painfree world. No sad farewells no tear dim eyes where all is love and peace and the soul never dies. Many hugs and kisses. .. Love Ms Deer AKA Aunty Lisa as you guys would call me at times.
Keren Cumberbatch Post tribute on Saturday, September 29, 2018 - 15:04
Many hugs... The pain is great and at times difficult to bear but we are praying that you will allow the Holy Spirit to carry you on the days you cannot carry yourself, that you will be comforted and that your hearts will heal well as you bid Nyle adieu. He'll be worshipping in God's throne room while awaiting your arrival.
