Hyacinth & Sis Zurlin Post tribute on Friday, September 28, 2018 - 11:38
Ooohhhh where to begin. Nyle and I knew each other from church, we became friends one year at Camp when we so happened to be in the same Family. Nyle was caring and funny lol but at the same time he was inquisitive. He was mature for his age, he was short then lol. I would always ask after him if I didn't see him in Brown's Hall, and when we did see each other we would have conversation about his ministry and school. Nyle you'll be missed dearly, but we will meet again. We shall see you dancing about and being the jovial person that you are. There is no more pain my dear. Rest well Nyle. Pastor Roger and Michelle, we pray for you. May the Lord give you comfort in this trying time. We can never guarentee that the gaping hole in your heart will go away, but we know the Lord takes care of His children. You will receive more Love and care in this time than you'll know what to do with it. We speak peace over your lives and rest in the assurance that you will meet again. God gave you a son and you brought him up in the Godly way. You took great care of the gift (Nyle). Remember the great memories you've created together, I know there are plenty to last a lifetime. Remember the smiles, the laughs, his precious and unique ways. Peace be yours.

I really thought I would be there if anything for my own healing but it was not meant to be! Yet every time my heart sinks with pain, I hear Nyle sing, So will I ... God of creation There at the start Before the beginning of time With no point of reference You spoke to the dark And fleshed out the wonder of light And as You speak A hundred billion galaxies are born In the vapor of Your breath the planets form If the stars were made to worship so will I I can see Your heart in everything You’ve made Every burning star A signal fire of grace If creation sings Your praises so will I God of Your promise You don’t speak in vain No syllable empty or void For once You have spoken All nature and science Follow the sound of Your voice And as You speak A hundred billion creatures catch Your breath Evolving in pursuit of what You said If it all reveals Your nature so will I I can see Your heart in everything You say Every painted sky A canvas of Your grace If creation still obeys You so will I So will I So will I If the stars were made to worship so will I If the mountains bow in reverence so will I If the oceans roar Your greatness so will I For if everything exists to lift You high so will I If the wind goes where You send it so will I If the rocks cry out in silence so will I If the sum of all our praises still falls shy Then we’ll sing again a hundred billion times God of salvation You chased down my heart Through all of my failure and pride On a hill You created The light of the world Abandoned in darkness to die And as You speak A hundred billion failures disappear Where You lost Your life so I could find it here If You left the grave behind You so will I I can see Your heart in everything You’ve done Every part designed in a work of art called love If You gladly chose surrender so will I I can see Your heart Eight billion different ways Every precious one A child You died to save If You gave Your life to love them so will I Like You would again a hundred billion times But what measure could amount to Your desire You’re the One who never leaves the one behind (Songwriters: Joel Houston / Benjamin Hastings / Michael Fatkin So Will I (100 Billion X) lyrics © Capitol Christian Music Group) Fare ye well, precious one! It is us who have to catch up with you! Love you always!

Nyle God sent you to be with your Mom, Dad and other family members, so that you could bring them joy and that you did. They welcomed you as their gift from God. They nurtured and groomed you in the fear of God, until you came to the realization of who you were and what your purpose was. You were loved by your family and friends and you blossomed like a beautiful flower! NYLE.... N- natural Y-outhful L-ovable E-nthusiastic Respectful, honest, outspoken and jovial are just a few of your characteristics. God placed them within you, and you displayed them well. The Lord sent his angels on September 7, 2018 to take you home, although it was not easy to let go, we had to say good bye and thank God for the life you lived and the joy you brought us. Good bye until we meet on the other side. Pastors Michelle and Roger Stewart l pray you find comfort in the word of God. Isaiah 40:10

From Nyle and I first met and camp quite a few years ago, he has always been so friendly and never without a smile on his face. When I did happen to see him once we both started UWI it was always a pleasure to talk with him and catch up on school. During his unfortunate illness, it was almost unbelievable how positive Nyle was and whenever I got the chance to visit him we would have fun and effortless conversation which would always end with "Later Nyle" and "Later Steph". I'll truly miss seeing him around but I know one day I'll see him again. Much love, Steph

A smile makes the difference and Yours surely did. I will miss the long deep conversations that would often end in laughter. I will miss calling your saxophone a " blow blow" and being told what it is. I will miss You asking me when am I coming to preach at Greendale. Your love for God , UCJCI and Youths will never be forgotten. Your smile will forever remain in my heart as I continue to give God thanks for having met you Nyle. My prayers are with you aunty Nicqi , Mich , uncle Roger and the rest of the family. I pray our God who gives comfort will continue to comfort you all. Shalom

My sincere condolences to Michelle and Roger on Nyles passing. I can't find words that would adequately describe our feelings. Nyle was so quiet and unassuming. I think it belies who he really was. Am tempted to say he is gone too soon but will not, because the Lord knew all about him before he was born . I will remember him for his Saxophone tribute to his Mother not too long ago. Sleep on my son.
AUDREY BARRETT (UWI-OA) Post tribute on Thursday, September 27, 2018 - 15:39
Mr and Mrs Roger Stewart It will be the little things about Nyle that you will remember, the quiet moments, the smiles, the laughter. And although it may seem hard right now, it will be the memories of these little things that help to push away the pain and will bring the smiles back again. Don't think of Nyle as gone away. Just think of him as resting in a place of warmth and comfort where there is no more pain or tears. Think of how Nyle touched our lives, the welcome hugs, and chats shared. Think of how Nyle cared and loved. The compassion he had for those who were sick, sad and troubled Think of Nyle's imperishable peace, the love for God and his church. Think of Nyle as living in all the hearts he touched. For no one love is ever forgotten. And he was loved so much. Farewell Nyle, RIP/SIP.

Hi Nile I know where you are. I know that you are with our lord. It was great knowing you. You were such a fine young man. You always were pleasant to talk to with a happy smiling face. Our family loves you so much and miss you with all our heart. You are in heaven and that's the best place to be. Free from pain and suffering. No one would have ever known what you were feeling if you had never told them. You are the bravest soldier I ever knew. Aunty Mitchell and uncle Roger God is still in control. Take heart, be bold just like your soldier.

Nyle’s passing has left a deep vacuum in all our hearts, and we mourn his loss with you. I take this time to express our sincere heartfelt condolences to you Pastors Roger and Michelle for the loss of your beloved son . His short span of life on this earth was well spent. He was loved and admired by many with whom he came in contact. We were inspired by his genuine love and care for his family and friends. He was a true leader indeed...We will sadly miss him , and our prayers are with you and families at this painful time. Be comforted knowing he’s now resting safely in the arms of his Savior. ‘NO MORE PAIN .... NO MORE CRYING AGAIN’ .Sweet rest my son
Miss Ruddock Post tribute on Thursday, September 27, 2018 - 12:08
Nyle my son, my spiritual baby, you have been a gift to us from the Almighty God. You have certainly fought s good fight as I have been right beside you during this journey. A whole year of Prayers, overwhelming support, probing, poking, hospitalization, sleepless nights. We may have been on opposite sides of the world but your mom taught me how to smile in the midst of the storm. This showed how blessed we are as every picture I saw of Nyle he was smiling as we "rocked" our bald heads and being cheerful to all who visited. I can see you now Smiling down from Heaven saying don't worry about me because you are at peace. Nyle you will never be forgotten because you truly have touched my life.
