Nyle you were a true warrior, I am proud of how you walked this journey. The few times I saw you you always looked at peace. I admired your courage, strength and your faith in God. You are now with your Father in heaven.

Michelle and Roger there are no adequate words. I have been thinking of the right words but could only come up with, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me." 2 Corinthians 12 v. 9. Love you guys. May Nyle's soul rest in peace.

Roger & Michelle...I can’t even come close to beginning to understand your pain but I am confident that the God of all comfort understands, and is able to sustain. Sounds cliche, but Nyle is in a better place and I believe he fulfilled his purpose here on earth. The strength and fortitude with which he fought his illness could only be God given, and the testimony he has left and the lives touched are truly inspiring. I believe you WILL be reunited as family...until then, cherish the memories. Our God is able.…,,Lean on Him.

Things like these never come easy to anyone. I honestly don't really know what to say but I was praying and hoping this would be something that he would overcome. I knew he was a fighter but sometimes life doesn't always go how we want it to. I remember going over to Aunty Michelle's house and playing games with Nyle as a child. I know for sure that he was a bit annoyed by my brother Matthew and myself sometimes but he was so patient with us. He would never say one word to offend us and was still always willing to play. It's sad to see someone aspiring to be great, be taken away so soon, and knowing we're from the same generation makes it even worse. Well! I'm happy that I got to see him recently as an adult and create yet another memory. May his soul rest in peace!

Where do I really begin? Sigh! Nyle's humility and quiet nature was beyond admiration. That admiration grew as I realized how strong, brave and faithful he was. He always exuded a quiet assertion that made you wonder if he was ever bothered by anything. Nyle went through his illness with such calm, and on my last encounter with him, I could never tell he was so ill , had I not known. His spirit was so positive with such unwavering strength right up to the very end. We may have lost Nyle here on Earth, but Heaven welcomed yet another angel. I know if Nyle was still here and knew for sure God's plan he would not disturb it because that's the kind of person he was....trusting blindly and completely faithful up to when God called him home. I can almost hear him say; " Caan do nutten, if a so God want it." A young. brave, brilliant soul....my nephew....Gone too too soon! Rest in peace Nyle Jordan Ashwood Stewart! Praises be to God for the life he lived and the battles he fought. May his soul rest in eternal peace!

A promising young man with so much potential and undoubtedly the envy of his peers. Very humbled to have met you. A kind yet gentle soul that you are and this will be emulated among the many traits you have captured. Sleep well Nyle

When Nyles was younger his parents took him to me to have something made for career day. When all was explained and we thought every thing was settled, Nyles had the final input as he leaned over to me, looked me in the eyes and asked me, "yuh sure you can do it?" That is one of the traits I remember with admiration of Nyles. He was a young man who was always confident; knew what he wanted and was not afraid to ask for it. His spirit was high and faith in the Lord was unshakable even in the lowest times when we all were deeply concerned. We love you Nyles, but God loves you more. May your soul rest in peace.

Dave Hazle Post tribute on Wednesday, September 26, 2018 - 19:36
Nyle I remember coming to see you 2 days before you died Something you said stayed with me. You were wearing an oxygen mask and having difficulty breathing and your dad was massaging your shoulder. I remember you said. "I don't want to suffer" In my mind you had been suffering. You found the courage, faith and strength to endure what most of us could not manage. You had suffered a lot. Yet your comment seemed to suggest that you had not yet reached your suffering threshold. I admire what you were able to endure I dont know if I could. But when you said you did not want to suffer it felt like you were looking down the line, if your physical health did not change to a time when your suffering threshold would be reached. I wonder if you were signaling your readiness to God that you were ready to come home. To leave all the prospect of earthly suffering and go home to the Father. I guess for that reason I was not too surprised that you went home 2 days later. I marvel at the number of lives you have touched. I cant explain it and I wonder how many more you would have touched had you remained here. But I am happy you will not have to go through the suffering you saw coming. I celebrate the impact that your brief life has made and I rejoice to know you are with God. So we will talk again when I get there. Walk good my friend.

Nyle, I had no idea that phone conversation would have been our last here on earth. I know that you are in good hands and I look forward to seeing you again. Michelle and Roger, God has you in his arms and will never let you go. Please continue to believe that he will give you the strength and courage you need in the coming days. He will continue to shower you with his love. Be encouraged and know that we will travel with you along this path and support you in any way we can. Love and hugs…

Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His saint. For the short time I knew you you had such a beautiful spirit. Enjoy yourself in heaven till your family and the rest of us get there. Meanwhile their memories of you will be there to remind them of your love. And, We know that the Lord will be keeping your family not only in His peace, but also His joy until they join you much later.

To my wonderful friend it’s was such a great pleasure knowing you. I am happy I have those memories with me as I trod on through this world. Thank you for the smiles, laughter, advice and for being the supportive friend you were to us all.

You were a beautiful young man who has left an indelible mark on our lives. May your family find peace in the happy memories and the knowledge that you were loved and admired by so many apart from your immediate family. God bless your family. Always in my prayers.

Nyle our temporary goodbye to you, is God's permanent welcome home. It is hard at times to understand the why of God's hand but we know when He takes from us that which we cherish most, it is not because He loves us less but in His infinite wisdom, He knows the why of now. Mr and Mrs Stewart, may your faith in God navigate you on this path of grief and loss that you have been placed on. Remember you are never alone on this path for beside you is a friend and that friend is God.. May the Lord continue to strengthen you both at this time. You are constantly in our prayers.

Nyle was young man worthy of admiration. His quite demeanor and his respect for his parents and adults in general are qualities hardly found in his peer. Nyle during his illness reiterated what it meant to have FAITH, total trust in GOD. Despite his pain and discomfort he still had his smile . I'll miss his presence.......
